In honor of Banned Books Week, Bookshop Santa Cruz and community partners present a benefit screening of the Emmy Award-winning documentary "The Librarians" on Tuesday, October 6, at 7:00 p.m. at the Colligan Theater at the Tannery Arts Center. Organized by three local high school students to support Santa Cruz City Schools, the event features a 90-minute screening followed by a panel discussion with librarians and youth leaders.

All ticket proceeds and donations will go toward purchasing banned and challenged books for local public school libraries.
