Peter Gelblum, long-time chair of the Santa Cruz County chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), will be the speaker at the NAACP member meeting on July 6 beginning at 7 pm. Gelblum will discuss the ACLU's recent wins, including the Supreme Court decision upholding birthright citizenship, and how ACLU and NAACP can work together to protect civil rights.
