  Powwow 2026 is a social gathering that brings together Native American co
 mmunities from various tribes across California and Turtle Island. This ev
 ent celebrates and honors Native cultural heritage on Uypi and Amah Mutsun
  lands. \n\nIn honor of Sophia Garcia-Robles\, this event celebrates Indig
 enous culture through dance\, song\, art\, and community—uplifting tradi
 tions that continue to sustain and connect us across generations.\n\nThis 
 powwow creates a space of fellowship\, respect\, and empowerment\, strengt
 hening the connection between UCSC and the broader Native/Indigenous commu
