The community event connects environmental remediation of the San Lorenzo River through Downtown Santa Cruz and supporting the Santa Cruz local economy.

The event introduces a new model for community river cleanup and habitat restoration that rewards volunteers with spendable value such as Downtown Dollars or local business gift cards.

SCGX's goal is to clean the entire San Lorenzo River through Downtown Santa Cruz.
