As your County Supervisor and representative to the Community Action Board (CAB), I'm honored to share an exciting announcement: Dolores Huerta—legendary civil rights activist, community organizer, and co-founder of the United Farm Workers of America—will be the keynote speaker at CAB's 60th Anniversary Celebration.

She will be joined by an inspiring lineup of community leaders reflecting on CAB's six decades of impact, including State Senator John Laird, Watsonville Mayor Maria Orozco, Santa Cruz Mayor Fred Keeley, Former CAB Executive Director Christine Johnson-Lyons, Former Assistant Director and current CAB Administrator Tom Helman, and Day Worker Center Comité President Luis Nieves.
