The World Bank has the power to shape our planet's energy future, Pauline.

Yet, despite its promises to support climate action, it still invests heavily in fossil fuel expansion. In fact, the bank increased its approved funding for fossil fuel projects from $60 million in 2022 to $490 million in 2024.

This October, during the 2025 World Bank Annual Meetings, we have a chance to make our voices heard. Together, we'll demand an end to fossil fuel financing and call for investments in clean energy, because a livable planet depends on it.
