Hulda Hoover McLean Appreciation Day

Come to Rancho del Oso for Hulda Hoover McLean Appreciation Day! Hulda Hoover McLean was a well-known local watercolorist and an important proponent of Rancho del Oso's history.

We will be celebrating her birthday and Waddell Creek Association's 40th anniversary, with fun activities such as nature hikes (1 pm), a watercolor workshop (1 pm), and nature journaling (3 pm).

There will also be a guest speaker and the Nature and History Center will be showing a video from the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History about Hulda's shell collection and naturalist activities in Santa Cruz.
