Staff of the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission will present information about the Zero Emission Passenger Rail and Trail Project at two events in May. Workshops begin at 6:15 p.m. followed by an open house with interactive sessions with updated rail maps and exhibits.

Residents' input is wanted to advance a Project Concept due in June 2025.

6-7:30 p.m. Monday, May 12 at Watsonville Civic Plaza Community Room, 275 Main St., fourth floor, Watsonville. Topics include updates on the proposed rail and trail alignments and Watsonville station location options.

6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 at London Nelson Community Center, 301 Center St., Santa Cruz. Topics include updates on Beach Street rail and trail route alternatives, traffic patterns in Beach Flats and Westside grade crossings.
