This policy 101 event will broaden understanding of how CEC and CPUC functions and how policy is developed in each of these agencies. The speakers will cover their organizational structure, roles of various staff, and the processes that guide their decisions and policy making. We will not cover everything, but aim to be broad enough to connect the dots (from staff to research to rulings) and enough in the weeds to grasp the details of staff roles in processes and helpful ways for stakeholders to engage.
