Come join us at Soquel Demonstration State Forest on the first and third Friday of every month! We'll be working on popular trails like Flow, Sawpit, Braille, and Corral, rebuilding berms and other features that make these trails so fun.

Who: Adults-only. Difficulty: Moderate to advanced.

What: At Demo Days events, we kick off the day with an intro circle and safety talk before carpooling or riding ~2 miles to the worksite where we will regroup. We will spend the day doing a variety of tasks, which may include clearing drains, repairing berms and tread, brushing, installing pavers, and more. Be prepared for 3-4 miles of hiking on steep or loose terrain during the work day. If you bring your bike (which is encouraged!), you'll be responsible for its safety throughout the day. Typically volunteers stash their bikes near the work site. Packs to carry lunch, snacks, water, protective gear, and layers are required.
