Elkhorn Slough Reserve: 2024 Volunteer Training, starting Jan 27

Elkhorn Slough Reserve volunteer training begins on Saturday, January 27th and continues every Saturday through February 22nd. Training days are 9:30 am – 2:30 pm. Over five Saturdays, we'll learn about the wildlife, plants, history, restoration, and research of Elkhorn Slough and surrounding area. Each day will include time spent with expert educators, learning through lectures, interactive activities, and outdoor excursions. All new volunteers must attend the first day of training on January 27th. Volunteers who are interested in becoming guides for walking tours or school field trips should attend three of the four training days in February. Info and sign up HERE.
