Volunteers are needed this Saturday to mark, prune, and care for the crucial habitat-forming native vegetation planted at the enhancement site. (Please note that heavy rain will cancel this event.) CWC collaborates with the City of Santa Cruz Department of Public Works to ensure that all new plantings to bolster river habitat also meet levee guidelines for flood control.
