Chat N Act “ Electrify Everything, Follow up sessions 1. September 21, 2022, 10 AM Planning to electrify everything. Following the Chat and Act format, you will come away from this workshop with a plan specifically for your own life, or for your business or both. With a presentation by retired electrical engineer Tom Kabat, we will give you information about the capacity of your main electrical panel. We will review the Inflation Reduction Act, and how to pay for your project. Break out groups to chat about what your plan. Homework -prepare a draft personal action plan. 2. September 27, 2022, 10 AM Detailed review of electrical equipment availability and grid capacity. Following the Chat and Act format again, Brian Stewart of Electrify More detail about electrical equipment available in the marketplace. In groups, you will modify your action plan if needed, and then set your calendars to go to the big box stores and contractors for pricing and information. Homework will also include going out into your community to learn about electrification and grid capacity. 3. October 5, 2022, 10 AM Efficiency and conservation, wrap up. With the final Chat ‘N Act session for Electrify Everything, we will help you wrap up your personal and business electrification plan, address unanswered issues, and speak to energy efficiency and conservation.
