SCMGS invites you to our general meetings. The society promotes lapidary arts, rockhounding, and mineral collecting. If you are interested in rocks, minerals, fossils, and lapidary arts, including gems and jewelry, SCMGS is a great organization to socialize with fellow enthusiasts. Meetings generally last from 1 to 2 hours and include socializing, general meeting, and a program, Members bring in their finds to show off and discuss. The club also maintains a lapidary shop at the Market Street Senior Center that is open Saturdays from 9 to 12.
