La Boheme Santa Cruz

Henry Thompson, born and raised in Santa Cruz, returns for a visit after an absence of seven years, having trained as an opera singer in Italy. Performing and traveling under the name of Enrico Tomaso, he becomes a sensation in Santa Cruz. Then he meets Lottie Dame, a young piano teacher, and his life begins to change. The cast features young singers in acting roles with sample arias and songs from the 1800s. Joshua Hughes, a bass-baritone from Palo Alto performs the lead role.
