Santa Cruz Works will host a panel of scientists and community leaders at a meeting titled "COVID-19 Mutations and You" at 7 p.m. Tuesday online.COVID-19 variants have emerged in Britain, South Africa, Brazil, and now in Southern California. The evidence so far indicates that they are much more infectious than the host strain. Scientists and community leaders will answer your C19 mutation questions.The panel includes:• Isabel Bjork, executive director of the UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute.
