The NAACP and the County Office of Education is sponsoring a virtual town hall on Tuesday, January 19, starting at 6:00 p.m. to discuss racial justice and equity in the education system. Tony Thurman, the CA Superintendent of Public Instruction will be our guest speaker. Please join this important dialogue to honor student voices, learn about successes as well as challenges, and both hear and offersuggestions about what our community can do differently to supportour African American students in Santa Cruz County.
