The year 1896 is a presidential election year. One of the most contested issues is women's suffrage, and local Santa Cruz men and women respond with vigor. You are invited to view two days in their lives -- the first set in Kate Handley's hat shop, and the second at the YMCA where Anna Shaw is the renowned guest speaker. Both scenes are filled with conflicts and laughs. The title song and ragtime music is performed as well.

Moving the play to a live-streamed Zoom webinar is quite a challenge, but we're having a lot of fun. Hope you will too. Like us you'll get to know our characters based on real people from Santa Cruz history.

We're holding two performances on Saturday, October 10 – curtain times 4pm and 7pm. Just click on this zoom link 10-15 minutes before either performance to get settled. Kick off your shoes and enjoy
