Ron Swenson will host a Zoom conversation about the implications for energy in the face of the present over-production and plummeting price of oil for interested CCL members. He will make a brief presentation of present conditions and possible impacts upon energy infrastructure, the economy, and climate change, followed by Q&A and group discussion.
Ron created the first website on peak oil -- http://www.energycrisis.com/-- in the mid-1990s. Since 1966 he has been tracking the geology, economics, and politics of fossil fuel production, consumption, and ultimate decline. Locally he has developed solar systems that produce the equivalent of 10 barrels of oil per day.
If you would like to attend this conversation please RSVP to email@example.com">firstname.lastname@example.org. She will send the zoom link on Friday.
