Cultivating Seed Memory: Revitalization of Native Foodways
Maya Harjo is Muscogee Creek, Quapaw, Seminole and Shawnee. She is also a recent graduate of the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food System's apprenticeship with a certificate in Organic Horticulture. She is dedicated to restoring Native food systems and increasing access to healthy, culturally appropriate food in Indigenous communities. Join us for a discussion on the importance of 'Seed Memory' as a way to preserve Native American Heritage.
