Ed Pike of Energy Solutions will be providing the meeting's featured presentations. Ed Pike, P.E., is a Senior Engineer at Energy Solutions. He is a licensed Civil Engineer with over 25 years of experience for government and private sector clients in areas such as Electric Vehicle policy and infrastructure and air quality standards. He has worked on over a dozen local and state agency EV infrastructure building codes.
Energy Solutions is funded by the Monterey Bay Air Resources District (via the California Energy Commission) to provide FREE assistance to local jurisdictions in adopting EV building codes. This includes technical knowledge, cost-effectiveness reports, outreach, and education.
The featured presentation will focus on:
Why electric vehicle infrastructure building codes are important, especially with EV sales reaching 10% of all California vehicle sales in Q3 of this year;
How local government can adopt EV infrastructure building codes; and
Which local governments have successfully adopted local reach codes.
