Doors Open: 7:00 PM
Program Starts: 7:00 PM
End Time: 9:00 AM
This event will share findings from our new study of housing issues faced by those that work for and serve the Santa Cruz community, and launch our expanded website including new housing policy tools and analyses.
The event will also provide an opportunity to engage in a community-wide conversation on solutions, featuring a panel discussion of housing policies, including renter protections (rent control and just cause eviction) and the preservation and production of more affordable housing.
Speakers will include a local tenant, a landlord, a housing policy expert, and an affordable housing developer.
A wide range of community groups working on issues such as affordable and alternative housing, tenant rights and protections, emergency rental assistance, homelessness, voter registration, and housing justice will be on hand with information about services and how you can get involved in building local housing solutions for all.
