Description:
Please join the SC Museum of Natural History for our bi-annual Rio Theatre Lecture Series on May 17, 7 - 9 p.m. "Tales from the Brink: Recovering Endangered Species in California" will feature a panel of speakers moderated by California Secretary of Natural Resources, John Laird, who will also speak on the larger context of endangered species protection in the state.

This panel will tell three different tales of recovering species from the brink of extinction. Southern Sea Otters, California Condors, and Salmon are each at a different point in their journeys toward recovery, and each face a unique set of challenges and solutions. Through this panel we will discover how their survival is in all of our hands.
