Sunday, April 8th, join a YARR caravan that's going to the Northern

California ICE detention center (at the Contra Costa County Jail in

Kehilla Community Synagogue's Immigration Committee holds a monthly

multi-faith, one-hour protest on site, called Let Our People Go, on the

second Sunday of every month. This is a youth-and-elder-friendly,

accessible action that protests against the detentions/deportations and

mass incarceration with activist debriefs, music, art, stories and

representation from different faith communities. This action also draws

attention to the site of internment within our midst and reminds

detained community members that we have not forgotten them.

Our government is ramping up its immoral practices of taking people away

— join us in taking a stand against this and for our communities. If not

now, when?

The protest itself is from 11-Noon at 5555 Giant Rd. in Richmond. If

you are interested in meeting up with YARR folks to carpool or caravan,

leaving around 8:30 am, please email"> by

Saturday morning to coordinate.
