End Solitary Confinement Torture

Speak-out, readers’ theater, take action to end solitary confinement torture, support Hunger Strikers and other people in solitary, and end sleep deprivation torture of people in CA solitary units.

End mass incarceration in the Prison Industrial Complex and mass criminalization and crimmigration.

Friday June 23 and the 23rd of every month

(for the 23+ hours a day people in solitary

are in their cells).

Take Action to End Solitary Confinement Torture!

California and the U.S. violate international law, holding people in solitary for months, years, and decades. International law (including the U.N. Mandela Rules) prohibits prolonged solitary confinement (over 15 consecutive days) and any isolation of vulnerable populations.

Call and email officials to support the Hunger Strikers in Administrative Segregation (ASU-solitary) at (Old) Folsom State Prison.

On May 25th, 2017 prisoners in Folsom State Prison B4 ASU (Administrative Segregation Unit) in Represa, CA, started a hunger strike to peacefully protest the unconstitutional cruel and unusual conditions of their confinement.
